This policy explains what information Hello Renn collects when you visit this site or work with us, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can access, correct, or delete it. We’ve written it in plain language on purpose.
What information we collect
We collect information in three ways: what you give us directly, what your browser sends automatically, and what our tools infer from how you use the site.
Information you provide
- Contact details submitted through forms — name, email, phone number, company, and website URL.
- Any project details, goals, or site access you share with us during a strategy call or onboarding.
- Billing information processed through our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers ourselves).
Information collected automatically
- IP address, browser type, device type, and general location (city/region level).
- Pages visited, time on page, referring URL, and click behavior via analytics tools.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 03 for the full list.
How we use your information
We use collected information only for purposes directly tied to running this business and delivering the service you asked for:
- Responding to inquiries and scheduling strategy calls.
- Delivering, measuring, and reporting on the SEO work described in your plan.
- Improving this website’s content, structure, and performance based on aggregate visitor behavior.
- Sending plan-related updates, invoices, and — only if you’ve opted in — occasional SEO insights by email.
- Meeting legal, accounting, and tax obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. Hello Renn has never sold, and will never sell, visitor or client data to third parties for their marketing purposes.
Cookies and tracking technologies
This site uses a limited set of cookies to function properly and to understand how visitors use it. You can disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings at any time.

Who we share information with
We keep our vendor list small and name the actual tools here rather than describing them vaguely, so you know exactly where your data goes:
- Website & hosting: this site runs on WordPress (Blocksy theme, Greenshift page builder) on a standard managed WordPress host, which processes traffic and form-submission data to serve the site.
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console, to understand traffic and search performance.
- Email & scheduling: Google Workspace for email correspondence, and Calendly for booking strategy calls.
- Payments: Stripe for processing plan payments — Hello Renn never sees or stores your full card number.
- Client communication: whatever tool you and Rennuel agree on for ongoing project work (typically email or a shared drive).
Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data on our behalf. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our legal rights, or in connection with a merger or acquisition of the business — in which case you’d be notified before your data changes hands.
Our legal basis for processing (EU/UK visitors)
If you’re located in the EU or UK, GDPR requires us to state which legal basis we rely on for each type of processing:
- Consent — for marketing emails and non-essential analytics cookies, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Performance of a contract — for processing needed to deliver the SEO plan you’ve signed up for, including billing.
- Legitimate interests — for essential site analytics and security measures, balanced against your right to privacy.
- Legal obligation — for records we’re required to keep for tax and accounting purposes.
How long we keep your data
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, plus any period required by law:
- Contact form submissions: up to 24 months, or until you ask us to delete them.
- Active client data: for the duration of the engagement plus 3 years, for accounting and legal purposes.
- Analytics data: automatically aggregated or deleted per each tool’s retention window.
Your rights over your data
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:
Access
Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction
Ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete information.
Deletion
Request that we delete your personal data, subject to legal retention limits.
Opt-out
Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the link in every message.
Portability
Request your data in a portable format, where applicable (e.g. under GDPR).
Do Not Sell/Share
We don’t sell your data outright, but tools like Google Analytics can count as “sharing” under the CCPA. You can opt out of this by disabling analytics cookies in your browser or via your device’s Global Privacy Control signal.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 12. We’ll respond within 30 days.
How we protect your data
We use industry-standard safeguards — encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), access-restricted systems, and reputable third-party providers — to protect the information we hold. No system is 100% secure, but we treat your data with the same care we’d want for our own.
Children’s privacy
This site and our services are intended for business owners and marketing decision-makers, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we’ll delete it.
International data transfers
Hello Renn operates with team members based in the Philippines serving clients primarily in the United States. Your information may therefore be processed outside your country of residence. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for these transfers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices, tools, or legal obligations change. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review it periodically.
